he worked for 13 years at SMS (now Siemens
Medical) in various Senior Vice President level sales
and marketing positions.

for the Italian Ministry of Health, The World Bank in Washington DC, and the World Health Organization in Geneva.

Mr. Rainer has 20 years' experience in the Biomedical field, more than 60 research having published more than 60 research
studies on the subject of Biomedical serves Engineering. He also serves as the Italian President for the Italian Association of
Clinical Engineering. In 1991 Mr. Rainer won the IFMBE Young Investigators Award, and in 1995 he was the winner of the
coveted Golden Helix Award.
